Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Hoof for the use of the Hoof apps. By creating an account you accept them and the privacy policy.
For counsel: name the contracting legal entity and review every section against Saudi law, including the E-Commerce Law and the Consumer Protection rules.
1. The service
Hoof helps horse owners and their teams keep track of horses: health records, vet and farrier visits, medications, feed plans, calendar and reminders, show jumping results, documents, contacts and team access. Hoof is a record-keeping and reminder tool.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Saudi mobile number and a one-time code sent by SMS. One account per person.
- Keep your phone and its SIM secure. Anyone who can receive your codes can sign in to your account.
- The information you give must be accurate, and you must be legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Owners, teams and roles
- Whoever adds a horse is its owner. The owner invites team members (trainer, groom, vet, farrier) to the whole stable or to one horse, and can change their role or remove them.
- Invites expire after 14 days, and only the invited mobile number can accept. You may only invite people who agreed to be contacted.
- Each role can see and do only what the role allows. A team member can leave a team at any time.
4. Your content
- You keep the rights to what you enter. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide Hoof to you and to the team you choose.
- You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload, including other people’s names and phone numbers.
- Records added by a team member to a horse belong to that horse’s owner’s file.
5. Not veterinary advice
Suggested next due dates, reminders, feed alerts and heat alerts are aids only. They do not replace the judgement of a licensed veterinarian or farrier. Weather forecasts come from Open-Meteo and may be wrong or unavailable. Always check with a professional about your horse’s health.
6. Free trial, plans and payments
- Free trial: 14 days, once per mobile number, no card needed. It starts at your first sign-in if you chose “owner”, or when you add your first horse.
- Who pays: only owners, and only for their own horses. Working on other people’s horses is free.
- Plans: Horse Owner (one active horse) and Stable Owner (unlimited horses), for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
- Prices are shown in the app as provided by the App Store or Google Play, in Saudi riyals including VAT.
- Payment and renewal: purchases are made and billed by Apple or Google. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Changes between plans are adjusted by the store.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Use “Restore purchases” in the app to recover a subscription on a new device.
7. When a trial or plan ends
Your own horses become read-only: you cannot add, edit, delete or tick anything on them until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted. You can still view, export your data and delete your account. Horses you work on for other owners are not affected. On the Horse Owner plan with more than one horse, you choose which horse stays active.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Hoof: no access to accounts or horses that are not yours, no attempts to break or overload the service, no unlawful, harmful or infringing content, and no sending invites to people who have not agreed.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Hoof available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted. Some actions (ticks) work offline and sync later; everything else needs a connection. We may change or improve features. We will tell you in the app about changes that matter.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the app (Account → Delete account). Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
11. Liability
For counsel: warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability, within what Saudi law allows.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
For counsel: competent courts or dispute resolution.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will show the new version in the app and ask you to accept it. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
